I left the modern world to go in the outback. The outback is the hinterland where we can see camels, dingoes, kangaroos, brumbies…

During my trip of the outback I could see wonderful landscapes!

I saw The Olgas and the Ulura, it was surprising ! The Uluru is a sacred place for the Aborigines. They carry out ancestral rituals. I found it very emotional! I even saw a wallaby. It’s so cute !

I visited Alice Springs and I met Aborigines who told me a lot of myths and legends.  They also told me that half of all Aboriginies live in cities today. The invasion they have undergone since the late eighteenth century had disastrous consequences. An Aboriginal told me about his difficult childhood. He was part of the Stolen Generations. He was taken from his parents and has never revised them. He was a little relieved after Kevin Rudd’s apology, but he will never forget what they did. Revisited

I loved the Macdonnell Ranges,  which is a long chain of mountains. the gorges of Glen Helen is very very impressive !
